Nearly 100 people have signed up to be part of this fun and impactful event and we will take over the streets of The Hague and deliver a beautiful message of Peace and Unity.
Speaking of people who are planning to take over the streets of The Hague, the amazing people at Oxfam Novib have announced another Red Line protest in the city. We have been in contact with their team and have made a plan to avoid the bike parade from crossing paths with the protest and vice versa. That would be a logistical nightmare. As such, the Ride2Peace bike parade will start 30 minutes earlier than initially planned.
That means the schedule is now:
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Check in at near Kalvermarkt 83: https://maps.app.goo.gl/
1:30 PM sharp
Start of ride from there to the Peace Palace. We aim to arrive at the Peace Palace by 2:15pm
2:15 PM – 2:30 PM
We will celebrate the journey together outside of the Peace Palace and have a moment together
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
We will ride back to the city centre.
The municipality, police and emergency services have all approved our bike parade which is amazing and we will follow a separate path from the Red Line protest but we might also have the opportunity to greet them. You can also park your bike at the Peace Palace and continue on with the Red Line protest if you choose to do so.
This is going to be an absolutely beautiful event and we cannot wait to Ride Together in the name of Peace.
